our best days this summer were, no doubt, spent in or near that sea that surrounds florida. we were lucky enough to get to spend a good bit of time there during the month we visited. for we stayed once with just our little family {mark, boys, me}, and once with my parents and some of my brothers, sisters, cute kids.
we spent lazy days in the sun, brushed up on surf skills gained last summer {minus much wave action.}, saw a good bit of the creatures that live in the sea, built sandcastles, searched high & low for shells and shark's teeth, swam till our feet and hands were a wrinkled mess, ate and ate some more {thanks to my mama who made a months worth of food for a week of eating.}, and watched the most lovely sunsets.
free as a bird.
