sunshine babies.

i know i have been less than stellar at posting on this blog of mine. i make promises, and then i feel hardly motivated to follow through with those promises that, at this point, have become lies. after spending a good portion of last night and this morning giving this blog a much needed facelift, i'm encouraged to think that that will help to motivate me...here's hopin'.

like most of our summers before, we spent a good portion in my home state of florida.  and, like most summers before, the comfort & rain were exactly what we needed and wanted. most every year, my siblings and their fams come down, and we all hole up at my parents' place-- swim in their pool, eat all their food, and dirty up their cars with beach sand. it's the best time of the year. but, with my summer lackadaisical attitude,  it was on rare occasion that i brought out my camera. however, i did manage to capture a bit of our fun, some cute little tushes and a few of those florida sunshine babies.

my niece, lulu, who some say looks just like baby maranda. reliable people say those things.

morning yoga classes, and sometimes afternoon too. they loved them so much.
little eagle.
little love, and aubrey was her name.
dr. wessy
space to roam and ride.

my madden may have developed a gambling problem while there.
luey love.
best garden, best chilis.
lots and lots of swimming in the florida rain.
shamu vs. gator races--story of my childhood. that and olympics on the diving board.

sweaty people making the most of those sea world season passes in the heat.

and these season passes.

the sisters took elly jo and sadie rose school shopping for kindergarten. at least, that's what we were suppose to be doing..

a fun little party for keke in the front yard.
the boys swim attire thanks to a great find by jo.

forever baby addy.
