mother's day last month (tad bit behind, let's just blame summer excitement and move forward.) was a delight for this mama. my boys were the sweetest. max made me the cutest necklace out of clay at school, and maddy wrote the most darling/funniest things about me. we spent the day at our new house timber's new house (we practically live there.), where the men folk bbq'd the moms and mamas-to-be a most delish dinner. but, most importantly, we celebrated little rosie's 5th birthday. her mama asked if i could throw something together for her and, being that i hold that angel near & dear to my heart, i happily obliged. it turned out lovely. rose was happy, mamas were were happy, & kids played to their hearts content. a happy day.
{i took the kids to see the movie "chimpanzee" around this time, let's just say that's where the really cute monkey comparison came from. yes, let's just say that.}
{mark wasn't in town to celebrate, so he sent his love.;)}
