beach house .round 1.

{the beach house is on anna maria island which is one of the most beautiful beaches in all of fL . it is just south of st. pete on the west coast. the sand is so soft and white and the water is so clear you can be shoulder deep and still see your feet. it's beyond beautiful and one of  my most favorite places.}

on saturday we celebrated mark's birthday. yes, i am aware it is a tad bit early but i just couldn't wait another day to give him his gift...which he loved.=) we also went to the sitake's for some delicious food, fire, fun and a little smoke inhalation.;)

FINALLY!!!! we have been waiting for this movie for over a year, literally counting down the days (and by we i mostly mean max.)  june 18, 2010 finally came on friday and, of course, we were there right after max got out of school.  kenny and i took max, mad, elliott, alastair and skiz. they loved it and max talked the entire movie! he had researched it so much leading up to it's release, he basically knew everything that was going to happen before it did and in true max fashion, let everyone around him know.;) the movie was soo cute! although, that big baby was really freaky and i'll probably see that monkey in my nightmares. max's favorite part was buzz saving the train and mad's favorite part was lotso (the bad guy) not pushing the button to save the good guys...."i just want the bad guy to win one time." what am i going to do with him??? but really the best part was ken, that metro totally made the movie.

we went saturday too. 10 times people! it's max's "one" wish. ;)

we spent this last week in st. georgie. mark's parents have a house down there that they so generously let us use (thanks mom and dad!)  we love going down there (and not just b/c it's free;)) and HATE coming back! we started to come back on sunday, got 20 mins out of town, couldn't stand it and went back for one more night. max is the only one who wanted to come back b/c he was afraid he would miss toy story 3.=) we were trying to talk him into wanting to stay by telling him he could miss school on monday, here was max's response, "i have to go to school. i want to go to 2nd grade. don't you want me to go to 2nd grade??" =) mark and i were laughing at our parenting skills.  we totally had to bribe him with anything he wanted at target just to stay one more night.

 one of my very best friends, de ann, had my baby the other week.;) he is such a beautiful, little boy with the sweetest expressions and the cutest name. i adore him and his mama. i pray he makes his mother proud and grows up to be a british comedian.;)

one of my very dearest girlfriends is leaving me for indiana! i'm so mad at kevin for getting a job and making money for his family.;) i suppose i will try and be happy for lea that she gets to retire at 27.  i will miss you and joshy too much, lea! i loved saturday and will miss those like nobody's business.;)  i'm so glad we got one last "put your back in to it" before you left, although we ain't what we used to be....oh, college girls!;) i love you and will miss you so much!!=(

my mama flew out here on wednesday and i was able to go up to idaho on thursday and see markus in action. he has worked at this company for 6-ish years and this is the first time i have seen for myself what his days are like. i'm so glad i was able to go (thanks mom!=)) the drive up was so gorgeous and therapeutic, driving fast, singing my heart out to ingrid and screaming my head off to aerosmith with no one complaining about how loud i listen to my music.;)  i spent most of the day with mark watching him work minus a few hours when i snuck out to go to anthropologie and of course, toys r us.;)  we were able to see a little of downtown boise and then we headed to twin falls and drove around looking at all the beautiful scenery. it was so relaxing and idaho amazes me with its beauty every time i go.

max finally had his field trip to wheeler farm (now i am left with only having to hear about toy story 3 all day.) we've been a hundred times but i suppose it's more fun when you get to go on a bus.=) i loved how surprised max was to drive by all the places we drive by everyday. "mom, i can't believe i just saw smith's!" 

he was ready to go 20 minutes after we got there.;)
